HC: Congratulations on winning our campus-wide Halloween costume contest! What inspired your super creative and fun costume?

CU: Thanks so much for picking our costume as the contest winner! My friends and I really wanted to do a fun group costume, so we just google-searched “cute college costumes” until we found something we liked!

HC: What are you involved in on campus?

CU: I’m a writer for Her Campus and The Odyssey.

HC: What do you like to do in your spare time?

CU: In my spare time I’m usually eating, watching re-runs of The Office or Friends on Netflix, going to Dunkin Donuts, or trying to find somewhere interesting nearby to explore.

HC: You’re clearly very passionate about writing. What sparked this interest for you?

CU: There’s something very cool about seeing your own thoughts published in an article that other people can read and share.

HC: If you could be a dessert, which one would it be and why?

CU: I think I would be a chocolate brownie sundae with hot fudge; what could be better?

HC: You attended the Her Campus conference this past summer in NYC! What was the most rewarding takeaway for you?

CU: The Her Campus conference was amazing. I was in awe of meeting super successful people in the field of journalism because it’s a field that I would love to work in, and it also took place in the city I would love to live and work in. I got a great idea of what I’d like to do, and I felt a part of the great Her Campus community.

HC: Favorite food

CU: Pumpkin muffins and chocolate chip cookies

HC: Favorite movie/TV show

CU: 500 Days of Summer/ Friends

HC: What’s your favorite place in the world?

CU: Any place with a great view

HC: Favorite thing about Marist?

CU: My favorite thing about going to Marist is getting to live in such a pretty place every day.

HC: Any ideas for next year’s Halloween costume?

CU: Yes! I would love to do a Day of the Dead costume next year, where I can get creative with the make-up and flower headdress.

Anna is a senior at Marist College where she majors in Public Relations and minors in Theatre. On campus, Anna is a tour guide and student Ambassador . She performs with the Marist College Dance Ensemble, Marist College Club of Theatre Arts, and Ulster Ballet Company. In-between sips of coffee and spoonfuls of Nutella you can usually find her scrolling through her iPod (which is loaded with country music, Italian rap, and musical theatre show tunes), watching How I Met Your Mother or The Office, laughing at her own jokes (which are known to always be punny, but never be funny), volunteering, or making plans to travel the world. Avid writer, reader, lister, and communicator.
