HC: Why did you choose Marist?
FG: When I walked onto the campus, I just felt like it was where I wanted to go. My dad told me I had to go away for college, so I said I’m picking. So, Marist was the one.
HC: Describe yourself in three words.
FG:Â Funny, friendly, and outgoing!
HC: Are you sad to go home? How has studying abroad been for you?
FG: I have a bit of mixed emotions. I love it here, but I am excited to see my family and friends back at home. Studying abroad has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I learned a lot about myself that I never knew before.
HC: What foods are you going to miss the most from Florence?
FG: I am going to miss the size of the sandwiches from Antico with the pecorino cream cheese spread. The freshness of the fruits and vegetables. And prosciutto, you can’t get that from the States.
HC: What is your favorite spot in Florence?
FG:  At Piazza della Repubblica around four or five o’clock, there is a string trio that I make sure to listen to every Thursday if I am not traveling.
HC: Favorite TV show out right now?
FG: “The Blacklist” because there are some things going on in each episode that all tie in to a bigger problem that you don’t know.
HC: What is your all-time favorite movie?
FG: “A Bronx Tale” because it has so many different life lessons inside of the plot. It shows you two different perspectives on life in general.
HC: What’s your ideal first date?
FG: Â Something not too crazy, but something that has meaning to it. A walk or going out to dinner, just so I can get to know the other person better.
HC: What is your go-to pick up line?
FG:   I don’t really have a go-to pick up line. I just usually end up talking to people and it goes from there.
HC: Who is your celeb crush?
FG: Julianne Hough. She is the most gorgeous woman in the world.
HC: What are you most excited about going back home for the summer?
FG: I am mostly looking forward to a couple things. I am looking forward to seeing and living with my sister because I haven’t seen her in a long time. I am excited to start up my job again this summer. I am looking forward to seeing my family especially my dad, my aunts and uncles, my cousins, best friends, and another very special girl back in the States.
