Name: Joe Daly
Year: Junior
Major: Finance
Hometown: Clifton Park, NY
Her Campus: What are you involved in on campus?
Joe Daly: Currently, I spend majority of my time in the music department. I play percussion for pretty much every band on campus, including the pep band, marching band, wind ensemble, and symphonic band. Also, I’m really into intramural dodgeball.
HC: What’s the best part about being in band?
JD: Playing drums in the pep band for the basketball games. It’s awesome being able to help pump up the crowd and get everyone excited.Â
HC: How’s your semester in London so far?
JD: Amazing. Being in the center of such a diverse and historic city has been such a great experience so far. There’s always something new to see or do, so it’s impossible to be bored, although I am not a fan of the four hour long classes.
HC: What’s the most “British” thing you’ve done so far?
JD: I’ve eaten a disgusting amount of fish and chips and now drink tea constantly.
HC: What’s the top thing on your Marist bucket list?
JD: Probably jumping into the Hudson. Even though I’ll most likely end up getting some type of disease.
HC: If you could be any superhero who would you choose?
JD: Iron Man
HC: Describe your dream vacation.
JD: Backpacking across Europe, which I’m pretty much doing now!
Thanks, Joe! Keep enoying your fish and chips.
