This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Maryland chapter.

1. Hocus Pocus

“Hocus Pocus” is a classic that takes you back to ‘90s  Salem, Massachusetts.  Max and his sister Dani roam around their new town with Max’s  crush, although he won’t admit to it, Allison. They stumble upon this gross, dilapidated house where Max, like all boys, doesn’t listen to his female friend and ends up setting three witches loose. The characters work till the end of the movie to try to put an end to the witches by obtaining their book of spells. This movie is so high on our list because it is fun, exciting and not to mention one of Sarah Jessica Parker’s best performances. It’s neck and neck with “Sex and the City.”
