Cara Pohida (CP): “You’re Welcome!”
HC: “So Cara, what are you involved in on campus?”
CP: “Zeta Phi Delta, Psychology Club, and I work at the Foreign Language drop in center and tutor one on one as well. Stop in and say hi!”
HC: “What is it like being the president of Zeta Phi Delta (ZPD)?”
CP: “It is extremely rewarding. Although it does get stressful at times, I am honored to have the opportunity to be president of Zeta Phi Delta. I couldn’t ask to part of a better group of girls. They really are all amazing.”
HC: “What can we look forward to seeing coming up for ZPD?”
CP: “This week is recruitment. It is October 23rd-25th at 9PM in the Upper Main Dining Hall. This is an opportunity for girls to come meet the sisters and familiarize themselves with Zeta Phi Delta. Recruitment requires no commitment and is intended to allow potential new members to meet us, ask any questions they may have and have fun!
Then, at the end of January we have Rush which is the process of getting into Zeta Phi Delta and becoming a sister.
Also, we have many service events coming up like trick or treating for donations for our Thanksgiving adopt a family baskets and designing bras for the Breast Friends bra crawl. We are also looking forward to our Thanksgiving party where the sisters come together to have a potluck dinner, our holiday party and secret santa.”
HC: “ What is your favorite memory with ZPD?”
CP: “Thats a tough one. I would say meeting all of the new girls each year. It’s always an exciting time and I really enjoy meeting new people.”
HC: “ Where do you see yourself in 5 years?”
CP: “This surprises a lot of people, but I hope to have a career within the State Police. Fingers crossed, I have my first test next week.”
HC: “What is your dream vacation?”
CP: “A warm place with a nice beach and cute pool boy hahahah (I’m joking).”
HC: “ Haha, I love it.”
HC: “ What is your favorite food?”
CP: “I’m allergic to gluten, dairy and eggs, etc. so, that’s a hard question actually. I love potatoes though.”
HC: “Who is your celebrity crush?”
CP: “ Trey Songz.”
HC: “What do you do in your free time?”
CP: “I’ve had a really busy year so far, but in my free time I try to spend as much time with my friends as possible since most of us are graduating in May. I spend the rest of my free time cooking or at the gym.”
HC: “ Last question, Dunkin or Starbucks?”
CP: “Dunkin because it’s cheaper and more convenient, but overall, I prefer Starbucks.”
