Her Campus (HC): “Why did you choose to attend Marywood?”
Sam Lindquist (SL): “Hm, not a lot of schools have art therapy and I could also play soccer here, it’s the best of both worlds!”
HC: “What activities are you involved in on campus?”
SL: Soccer, Zeta Phi Delta, Orientation Leader, I feel like I do other things, but probably not.”
HC: “What position do you play in soccer?”
SL: “I was defense but because of my knee I had to play offense.”
HC: “What sports did you play in High School?”
SL: “Just soccer.”
HC: “Why did you choose to play soccer in college?”
SL: “Because I wasn’t ready to give it up  and a coach at one of my clinics came up to me and told me I should play at a school and they asked where I was looking and they emailed my coach and I got a call that night offering me a spot!”
HC: “How long have you played soccer?”
SL: “Since I was maybe like three or four. I grew up with it because my dad was always a coach. My dad was my coach for a while but as I got older that changed. Its my “thang.”
HC: Why did you choose to get involved with Marywood’s Greek life and why did you choose Zeta Phi Delta?”
SL: “Because Katie Wheeler. That’s like all I have to say. I bounced around between wanting to and not and then she convinced me.”
HC: “What is your favorite social media app?”
SL: “Instagram… @samanthalindquist”
HC: “Where is your favorite place to hang on campus?”
SL: The Learning Commons, I feel like you just see everyone and its nice cause you can work but you can also socialize.”Â
HC: “Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks?”
SL: “Dunkin Donuts. Im not a total white girl.”
HC: “Where is the coolest place you’ve ever been?”
SL: “Probably Hawaii on a family vacation a couple of years ago.”
HC: What is your favorite sport to watch?
SL: “Football. 110%”
HC: “What is your favorite footbal team?”
SL: “The Eagles” *sadface*
HC: “If you could travel in time, either forward or back, where would you go and why?”
SL: “I would go forward just to reassure myself that everything will work out and see where my life is going to be.”
