Alright, let’s be real here. I know that already a large number of you are ready to fight me. I get it—I do. And if you know you’re not going to be swayed and are already writing a death letter addressed to me, please don’t continue reading this. However, if you’re on the fence about cats and dogs, or if you’re going through midterms and desperately need a few distracting and comforting gifs of cute cats, then please read on.
Let’s just get straight into the thick of it.
1. CATS ARE EASIER THAN DOGS
Most of the time, they’re just sleeping. Which, as you can see, is bloody adorable and not a problem on my end.
2. CATS ARE QUIETER THAN DOGS
Dogs bark. So much. All the time. For no reason. At cars. At unassuming people. Now look at that kitten. Could its little roar scare anybody? NO.
3. CATS ARE STEALTHY AF AND WILL HUNT THINGS FOR YOU

4. CATS DON’T NEED TO BE TAKEN ON WALKS – THEY CAN ROAM BY THEMSELVES THANKYOUVERYMUCH
Look. They’re so amazing, they even take other animals on walks with them.
5. CATS CLEAN THEMSELVES – NO PANICKED CLAW-BARK-TRYING-TO-RUN-AWAY FIASCOS WITH BATHS
Such a happy little clean set of kitties.
6. CATS WERE WORSHIPPED AS GODS IN ANCIENT EGYPT
I totally get it. I’m already down on my knees praying.
7. CATS ARE JUST AS LAZY AS YOU ARE.
honestly same.
8. CATS ARE JUST AS SASSY AS YOU ARE.
Someone being annoying? Send them videos of your cat giving them dirty looks.
9. CATS ARE JUST SO INCREDIBLY CUTE

You see, I understand that there are some dog-lovers out there who think that all cats are snobs and mean. To a certain extent, they’re not completely wrong. However, I have a theory that people who don’t like cats, at their core, really just have an inferiority complex that prevents them from accepting their true position in life (and that position, ladies and gentlemen, is below cats on the totem pole). Sorry not sorry.
