There’s nothing I enjoy more than a good perfume. My mood improves instantly when I get a waft of something sweet and there’s no better time to find your signature scent than spring. If you’re like me and you don’t wear much makeup, perfume can do wonders for your personal style and attitude. As a result, I’ve gathered some of my favourite scents that I think would truly bring something extra to your day.

Love Story by Chloé ($100.00 1.7 oz. Sephora)

I adore Chloé perfumes and this one is no exception. Its light floral notes are grounded with orange flower oil with a twist of stephanotis jasmine. Love Story is a fresh and vibrant scent that will have you smiling hazily throughout the day. It’s a little strong when you first spray it, but its scent dies down a bit shortly after and lasts that way throughout the day.

L’eau D’Issey City Blossom by Issey Miyake ($90.00 1.6 oz. Sephora)

Perfume enthusiasts would be shocked if Issey Miyake was not on this list. His scents have become iconic and City Blossom just does it perfectly with its blossom scent and urban feel. It also has a mix of sparkling pink pepper and magnolia. It’s a limited edition brand, so it’s time to get it now if you’re feeling it.

Burberry Brit Rhythm by Burberry ($80.00 1.6 oz. Sephora)

I think of Kate Moss when I smell this. Not only because it’s British, but it’s also inspired by energy at rock concerts and flawless femininity. If you truly dislike strong scents, this one’s for you as it’s subtle and speaks for you.

Dot by Marc Jacobs ($85.00 1.7 oz. Sephora)

I knew I had to have this scent when I first smelled it. Daisy is already one of my favourite scents and this one is even better. It smells like an assortment of berries and honeysuckle that will make you feel like you’re on cloud nine. This is suited for those who like fruity scents.

Molecule 01 by Escentric Molecules ($170.00 Amazon)

This scent is slightly more daring because it smells differently, depending on the person that’s wearing it. Some people may smell nothing, but usually it creates a subtle elegant scent after a while. Beware, it’s hard to find as it is mainly available in the UK.

Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture ($84.00 1.7 oz. Sephora)

Honestly, I was skeptical when I first saw it. The bottle was just too pink for my liking, but the soft scent completely changed my mind. It’s also another fruity perfume that’s perfect for those who also prefer subtle scents. It’s one of those perfumes that are great to add to your body before you quickly head out the door.
