Nate Liao (NL): I scout models.
HC McGill: That’s so awesome. What made you interested in the job?
NL: I watched too much Entourage. I was obsessed about becoming a talent agent. I approached an agency and pitched them my ideas, met with the owner, and the rest was history.
HC McGill: On the topic of fashion, who are your favourite clothing lines?
NL: I Love Ugly, Engineered Garments, Alexander Wang, Naked and Famous, Common Projects
HC McGill: Any designers that you know and like from working in the industry that you want to share with the readers?
NL: Karen Quirion (KQK), Brit Wacher, Helena Ray, Claire Peng
HC McGill: What is your dream job?
NL: Launching a fashion/ lifestyle/ arts space where people can get coffee, design, read, philosophize, shop, browse works from local artists, etc.
HC McGill: If you had to wear one outfit for the rest of your life what would it be?
NL: Black on black.
