This weekend, my good friend Allison came in town to visit and we had to go grab a bite to our favorite spot, L’Entrepôt Mont Royal.
If you are a self-proclaimed foodie lover, you will definitely love this restaurant just as much as we do!
Located at 1019 Avenue Mount-Royal East on the Plateau, l’Entrepôt offers a wide variety of comfort food dishes as well as super creative drinks. The decor is also really captivating, with several skate and snowboards mounted on the walls. The bar wall also displays a pretty cool piece of art made of bottle caps with a huge eagle on the center, and you would not be able to tear your eyes off that one the first time you step into the restaurant.
The atmosphere at l’Entrepôt is really casual and the staff is always friendly. It opens from 11 am to 3 am, which is also a plus. However, it is a really popular place, so be prepared to wait in line especially if you are going there for dinner.
But the best part? Everything on the food menu is only $4.95!
You can tell by the picture that we like to eat a little bit of everything, as Allie and I shared a plate of perogies and a plate of chicken wings, and we each had the tacos with extra guacamole. For the main dish, I decided to switch it up and order the “Constructeur” Burger instead of my usual choice of Nachos or Mac N’ Cheese. My friend ordered the Pulled Pork Burger and we were definitely not disappointed. The sweet and salty taste of the Constructeur given by the maple syrup bacon and the crispy oignons was just heavenly delicious!
At the end of our meal, we stayed to enjoy some drinks. My absolute favourite has to be the Bulldog, which is a glass of margarita topped with an upside down bottle of Corona.
I definitely recommend l’Entrepôt for either a quick bite or to simply enjoy a couple of drinks, and who knows, you might find me there as well.
