In honor of the 87th annual Academy Awards on February 22, it’s only right to celebrate the hard work of those nominated. This year’s group of nominees caused some controversy because of the lack of diversity. I do agree that there is an underrepresentation of African-Americans as well as women. However, this should not take away from the people that were fortunate enough to grab a coveted nomination. Here are some of the nominees:
