What has been the hardest thing about College?
The hardest thing about college has been having the self-discipline to not waste time on leisurely activities and hanging out with friends. Math classes haven’t been so nice either.
Who is your biggest motivator/inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is my family. I dream about a better life for my family filled with education and prosperity.
Favorite MU tradition:
I love Mercer’s Homecoming. I look forward to it every year because the whole school unites and celebrates not just its sports teams, but every team, organization, and individual. I feel like it’s my own birthday whenever Homecoming is here.
Favorite Memory:
My favorite memory was when I participated in Mercer’s summer bridge program in 2010. That was one of the most exciting and adventurous times I’ve had in my life. I met some great people and I felt like a teenage celebrity!
What are your future plans?
I plan to search for marketing internships and attend graduate school. Hopefully I can get a marketing job that is sports related because I love competition.
Any tips for future Mercerians?
Take the time now to think about your future because time flies. Play hard but study harder. Do not forget that God comes first. Make smart decisions because you have to live with them.
