Mollie Davis is the name on everyone’s lips since last week; set to be Next Year’s Student Government Association (SGA) President she has a lot on her plate. Davis, when asked about the election results said “I’m really excited! People kept asking me all week how I felt and if I could judge where I was…I knew that if I had won or lost I would have been content knowing that I had tried my best and given it my all.”
She, along with her Vice-President, Joshua Lovett, already began the delicate process of enacting their platform. Davis said “we are looking to create jobs downtown in Macon for students and to get students more knowledgeable about thing to do in Macon…we are looking at promoting Macon through SGA next year.” As for Herself, Mollie is working towards her Pre-Law duel degree in Business and Law with her only hope for the future being that “I want to do something that is going to last a lot longer than I will.”
