What is your favorite thing about Mercer? My favorite thing about Mercer is how small the campus is. It is rare to find a campus with as much love for the tradition and opportunities Mercer has to offer. There is never a shortage of activities going on and alway s a great group of people to hang out with. I never have any hesitation about approaching professors for help which is so comforting.
What are your plans after graduation? After graduation I don’t have any specific aspirations except to have a job. My current dream job is to help people budget there money and figure out there loan payments. (Nerdy, I know)
Who is your role model? My mother has inspired me the most, just by giving me the name Scout has inspired me to live my life the way the character Scout would in Harper Lee’s novel To Kill a Mocking Bird. No one says it better then Rory Gilmore in her Chilton Valedictorian speech but I can try. She has never failed to set the best example she can for me and my sister, and she continues to inspire me today as I watch her take on life’s challenges. I hope that I carry myself with as much grace and poise as she demonstrates while I go through life.
If you could be anyone, who would you be and why? If I could be anyone I would probably choose a Kardashian, I mean who wouldn’t? They make millions of dollars without any actual talent. The real answer would be no one else. I am perfectly okay with who I am and my life and I would never change it.
