Charlie Farr is a 20 year old Junior in the Stetson School of Business majoring in Marketing and Economics and minoring in Statistics. Somewhere in between his many passions he is on the Mercer Football Team and Wrestling Team, in the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, on the Student Admissions Team, involved in Reformed University Fellowship, a part of Mercer Ambassadors, and one of the Freshman Business Guides. Outside of his campus work he has spent the past three summers as a Life Guard and loves the outdoors. This is what he had to share:
O: Why did you choose that specific major?
C: I want to have a career in Marketing Research, because it combines two of the things that I love the best. I love logic, and I get energy from working with people. Marketing research allows me to do both!
O: Descibe yourself in 4 words?
C: Motivated, Consistent, Goofy, Fun loving.
O: What has been your favorite part about Mercer and why?
C: My favorite thing I’ve done at Mercer so far has definitely been Mercer on Mission to South Africa. We had an incredible group of students that went, and in addition to having my eyes opened to the world around me. We had an amazing trip.
O: If there was one person in the whole world that you could become who would that be and why?
C: Umm…I’m going to have to go with David Pollack, a former defensive end for Georgia and a current sports announcer, because he is one of the hardest workers I’ve ever seen, he was
incredibly undersized, and he is a person I respect a ton!
O: Three things on your bucket list?
C: 1) Spend a month on every continent
2) See the northern lights
3) Sky dive
O: What is a Hidden talent of yours?
C: Not many people know that I can play guitar and piano.
O: Favorite pickup line?
C: Do you believe in love at first sight or should I walk by again?
O: Best way for the ladies to get your attention?
C: Be nice and love to have fun.
O: One confusing thing about the opposite sex?
C: A lot of things go right over my head, so its normally hard for me to figure out what girls are thinking. Unless they’re mad… that part I can tell.
O: What is a book you could read over and over?
C:The Hunger Games have been read multiple times this year, but any adventure book will do the trick.
