If there is one topic I can go on and on about, it’s fashion. It’s all around and it can be a form of communication for so many. As someone who came from a catholic school and wore a uniform for most of my life, I felt like I was able to show myself through fashion in college. Now that I’m walking around campus, I have seen so many cute outfits, which sparked an idea for me. What are some of the trends on college campuses now?
The one that has stuck out to me the most is Sambas and Adidas. It seems that Adidas is making a comeback now with their shoes such as Gazelle, campus 00s, and Sambas. Popularized by Harry Styles with his love on tour, these shows have vibrant colors and looks that make your outfits pop just a little more. I currently own a pair of campus 00s and I have nothing but amazing things to say about them. The compliments I get and even how comfortable they are just make me feel amazing.
One thing everyone can agree on is we all have the one pair of jeans that never do us wrong. For me it’s Hollister’s low-rise jeans, and it has made a statement on campus recently. The jeans give you that comfortable and flattering fit you want in jeans. One way that I love to dress my jeans is with a simple hoodie. It allows me to not try, but still put together a look.
For my last and final piece of clothing that I love seeing around campus is a patchwork hoodie or even sweatshirt. Seeing all these cute designs always makes me fall in love with each sweatshirt. Thanks to Her Campus I was able to make my own with my friends and create a piece of clothing to express myself.
At the end of the day, college fashion isn’t just about following trends—it’s about embracing individuality and expressing yourself in a way that makes you feel confident. Whether you’re rocking an oversized hoodie, layering thrifted pieces, or experimenting with bold accessories, your style tells a story. The beauty of campus fashion lies in its diversity, with students mixing comfort, creativity, and personal flair to create unique looks. So, whether you’re a fan of streetwear, preppy vibes, or sustainable fashion, the most important trend is staying true to yourself. After all, confidence is always in style!
