HC: When did you start playing hockey?
CM: I think I was 3 when I started playing out in the backyard. I was probably 5 when I started minor hockey.
HC: What was your favorite part of hockey growing up?
CM: Definitely the road trips because we got to stay in hotels and there were no rules.
HC: How was your hockey High School Career?
CM: High school hockey isn’t very good in Canada, so I played juniors in Penticton, which was a blast.
HC: What made you choose Miami for hockey?
CM: Once I visited the campus (I was being scouted here), there was no way I could have gone anywhere else. I instantly fell in love with everything about here.
HC: What has been your favorite part of playing here at Miami University?
CM: Hard to pick out one thing, but I would say the highlight of my time here is winning the Mason Cup.
HC: What position do you play?
CM: Left wing
HC: How would you explain the role you play on the team?
CM: Mucker, grinder, loose puck finder
HC: What do you do when you’re not practicing?
CM: Hard to find me not reading a book.
HC: How much a week do you practice?
CM: Everyday but Sunday.
HC: What are you going to miss most about your Miami hockey career and Miami in general?
CM: The most I will miss about Miami hockey is being able to hang out with all my buddies every day, and the what I will miss about Miami is the scenery… ehhh ladies.
HC: What are you planning to do after graduating Miami?
CM: Keep playing hockey
HC: What do you want to do after your hockey career is over?
CM: Become a stay at home son/ski bum in Golden
