What made you come to Ohio for your undergrad?I always knew I wanted to get out of Iowa when I graduated from high school. I visited about eight different schools all around the country but fell in love with the college town feel of Oxford. My man Robert Frost was spot on when he dubbed Miami the most beautiful campus that ever there was – how could you not fall in love with that red brick?
If you could pack up your bags and leave tomorrow on an all expenses paid adventure, where would you go and why?I’d love to visit Australia and swim in the Great Barrier Reef. Falling in love with an Australian would be kind of cool too, how can you resist those accents
What will you miss most when you finally have to leave the Ox box?Did you have to remind me? I’ll miss everything, but most of all, I’ll miss constantly being surrounded by my best friends (awww).
What’s your favorite college memory so far?Too many to count. More recently, some friends and I went on a cabrewing trip. It was a beautiful day and we were all having a great time. About an hour in, while floating down the river, one of my friends got clotheslined by a tree branch and literally did a backflip into the water (she’s okay). After fishing her back into the raft, I don’t think anyone stopped laughing about it for the rest of the day.
What are your post-grad plans?First and foremost, adopt a puppy. I’m also currently applying to law schools all around the country so my fate is in the hands of a bunch of law school admissions people. It’s anyone’s guess right now where I’ll actually end up.
