We all have to admit, it’s hard to resist the late night pizza temptation. After a fun-filled night Uptown, what better way to refuel your energy than a Bruno’s or Will’s run? But here’s the undying debate: which to chose?
Will’s and Bruno’s have been student favorites for years and the unspoken rule among us all is that if one attends Miami, one must pledge their allegiance to one of these Oxford staples.
I have to admit, I am definitely Team Bruno’s on this one. When making the hike back to campus in this negative degree weather, the perfect way to warm up is heading into Bruno’s and grabbing a warm slice to go.
Although, Will’s does seem to be cheaper in price and conveniently has a stand set up outside Brick Street (perfect for grabbing a quick slice after burning calories at 90’s night!). If you live on the other side of High Street, Will’s Pizzeria is in a prime location for that long walk back to off-campus housing.
“Bruno’s pizza is crispy, thin, and satisfying to the late-night cravings,” says sophomore Shelby Farrell. When deciding between the two places, it all comes down to convenience. “I enjoy Bruno’s pizza because I can always take a slice of it home with me as I walk down slant walk,” adds sophomore Lexi Sunberg.
“Will’s crust is thicker and they add the perfect amount of cheese for that filling taste,” says sophomore Rob Gold. Another plus for Will’s is the to-die-for garlic cheese bread. Not everyone is in the mood for some late night pizza, so this cheesy bread is a great alternative and still gets the job done.
Both Bruno’s and Will’s offer an extensive menu of delicious pizza that you can buy per slice or whole pizza pie and food options to satisfy any late night craving. Which to choose? Well, we’ll leave the choice up to you fellow pizza-lovers!
