Her Campus recently caught up with Senior Zach Drago and learned about his family, obsessions, and favorite Halloween costume! Sadly this campus cutie will not be in Oxford next semester, but we wish him the best of luck in San Francisco!

Major: Studio art focusing in metals/product design. Minor- IMS. I will be studying in San Francisco next semester.
Hometown: East Liverpool, Ohio
Pets: I have a Cat named Fiyero. I’m a cat lady at heart.
Siblings: One older sister. She lives in Manhattan and works at a men’s neckwear company.
Favorite Uptown Bar: I really love O Pub! 90’s night at Brickstreet is my all time favorite night to go out! Skippers will always be a favorite as well.
Favorite Thanksgiving Tradition: Italian thanksgiving- Each year my immediate family goes to one traditional Thanksgiving dinner at my mom’s side of the family then we go to my dad’s side where we have an Italian Thanksgiving! We put garlic and spaghetti sauce on EVERYTHING! My cousins and I all fight over my grandma’s stuffed artichokes.
Campus Involvement: Nothing too exciting, but I do have two campus jobs. I work for the IT dept in Farmer, and I also work at the Shriver center bookstore in the computer department. I’m secretly a geek- shhh! I’m occasionally in UP magazine if that counts.
Best Halloween Costume You’ve Had: I think it’s a tie! My freshman year, my friend and I made a Max costume from Where the Wild Things Are. But this year I went as a nude sim. I had a pixilated body with the green diamond above my head.
Favorite Ghost story and/or Halloween movie: Favorite Halloween movie would have to be the “Halloweentown” movies from Disney. My favorite horror/thriller movie is “The Mothman Prophesies”.
Random obsessions: Sunflower seeds, Roller blading, Freeze pops, Hookah, Sitcoms, Hot sauce on everything, Board games, Bow ties, Sweet tea, Socks, Apple products.
