If there is one thing I make incredibly known about myself, it is how much I adore Olivia Rodrigo. She is an inspiration to say the least. From her success at a such a young age to the fact that she loves Taylor Swift almost as much as I do, there really is not anything to dislike about the girl. If that has not convinced you though, I have 10 more reasons below of why I love her.

Does this really need explaining? From one Swiftie to another, supporting and loving Taylor Swift is an immediate green flag any day. And it does not hurt that she is basically the next up and coming Taylor as well.

Olivia’s influence on really all age groups is nothing to be ignored. She took the music industry by storm in only a year, and all before she hit legal adulthood. There is no arguing with the fact that whatever Olivia says, goes.

She is unapologetically herself and there is nothing more refreshing in the world. Now more than ever it is so comforting watching Olivia grow into such a beautiful young women that dresses, talks, and writes what she wants, when she wants. Especially as we take on the month of women, I applaud Olivia on what she has done for so many of us.

Dare I say more. You can scream to this song, cry, hit your steering wheel a few times, dance in your room, and probably a thousand other things. It is a feel good for the broken and lonely hearts; a song I do not think could have been written any better.

A successful young women all by the age of eighteen. While this is not unheard of it is not any less impressive than the person that came before her. And boy, is it motivation to get through these last semesters of college and create my own success story.

What a beautiful and talented songwriter she is. Listening to SOUR as many times as I have, I would know. Once again, referencing Taylor Swift, there are not many lyrics that make my mind explode as much as Miss Swift’s do. But Olivia did just that with every song on that incredible album. I beg you to listen again and listen intently if you disagree.

She is such an original person that has grown into her style and brand incredibly. Hollywood is a storm of stars, often overlapping each other to the point of confusion. While her music may fall into a fairly distinct category her fashion sense and personality have certainly made a name for themselves.

Olivia loves what she does and her dedication is such a testament to this. Time and time again she came through with new, and somehow even better, singles, and then an album, and then a tour, and only in one short year. What comes next, I am not going to lie, I am more than psyched to see.

In just 34 minutes and 46 seconds Olivia has encompassed teen hood so perfectly. In the most raw way possible she pulls us through feeling jealous, betrayed, unworthy, proud, and so much more. From the first second to the last, I can laugh, scream, cry, and smile with this incredible girl who somehow completed the impossible and told the story of being a teenager.
