Kenny Daniel Feliz says that the best part of Thanksgiving is eating his favorite, Turkey seasoned with Puerto Rican sofrito (special seasoning every latin person uses). But that’s not the only thing, he also loves drinking a seasonal latin drink, coquito, similar to eggnog. For Kenny, the ultimate blessing of Thanksgiving is having quality family time with his loved ones.
Aside from being excited for Thanksgiving, he is a 22-year-old, talented, and bilingual young professional originally from the Bronx (which he likes to call the Boogeydown Bronx). Kenny has been blessed with the best of two latin worlds, being Dominican and Puerto Rican. Born on June 12, 1994, he is an upbeat and motivated pre-professional.Talk about having a lot of extra sofrito, ay ay! Studying communications and public relations, he felt that he was destined for public speaking. His friends and mentors always said that he is very personable and a natural extrovert. Through being a great communicator and being involved in his local community, public relations was the perfect fit for him. His natural skills also aid him in his full-time job as a salesman at Signarama in Allentown, Pa.
Fun Question:Â If you were a superhero, what powers would you have? I would love to teleport and end up in different places like New York, California, Paris and the Bronx. I love to travel so it would be the best thing ever.
Back in high school, his favorite subject was and still is history. In his free time, Kenny likes to listen to his favorite, hip-hop music, keeping up with social media and travelling occasionally.
Fun Question:Â What would you do if you won the lottery? I would create a community resource center, a non-profit organization to help out my neighborhood. I would also buy a few houses for my family and treat myself by purchasing my dream car, a Range Rover SRE.
Kenny decided to go to Millersville University back when he originally thought that he wanted to be a secondary high school education major. He also recalled when he toured downtown Lancaster for the first time and he felt that it was the ideal college for him. His favorite building on campus is Osburn Hall, in which he took an independent study in screenprinting t-shirts, which he still does from time to time. His favorite spot on campus is near the iconic pond. He likes to sit still in peace and relieve some of his stresses.
