Music brings everyone together, no matter what genre you’re into. If you need new tunes for your playlist, check out the artists below!
- WallowsÂ
-
If you’re into indie vibes or even dead-looking skater boys, Wallows is for you! They’re good to listen to on chill rainy days. I’d recommend their song Are You Bored Yet? (feat. Clairo). If you like that, listen to their whole album, Nothing Happens! They will not disappoint, I promise.Â
- Rico Nasty
-
If you’re into rap, then Rico Nasty is for you. I will say she is not for the faint hearted, since most of her music is chaotic (but not all!) Her music is perfect for if you’re ready to explode and need to let out all feelings, good or bad. For an intense vibe listen to Rage, but if you’re feeling a bit mellow, I’d listen to Again.Â
- PRETTYMUCH
-
If you’re into boybands (One Direction fans I’m talking to you), then PRETTYMUCH is perfect for you. All of their songs are a certified bop, so I can guarantee you’ll find yourself singing along with them. I’d recommend listening to one of their most popular songs, Would You Mind. They’ve evolved since this song though, so if you like that, listen to their Phases EP.Â
- The Regrettes
-
If you’re not feeling boybands, check out this (almost) girl band, The Regrettes! They give me major Riot Grrrl energy and I love every song! I’d recommend listening to Fog from their newest album or if you’re feeling a feminist anthem, I’d suggest Seashore.Â
- Tame Impala
-
Tame Impala has definitely passed the vibe check, so if you just want to chill out, they’re perfect for you. I actually just started listening to them this summer, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’d recommend The Less I Know The Better, which is a classic that lots of people recognize without even knowing it’s them. I’d also suggest one of my favorites, Eventually. They’re perfect to listen to when you want to just jam out in your car.Â
I hope at least one of these artists peaked your interest for your playlists! Happy listening!

Brianna
