Quote Of The Week 1/29-2/4

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Millersville chapter.

“The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones that do.” -Unknown

I’m pretty sure that Steve Jobs didn’t wake up one day knowing that he would change the way we experience music or life in general. I don’t think that Mark Zuckerberg  anticipated being the youngest billionaire in the world after he dominated the social networking industry with his seemingly infallible Facebook. I don’t know if Susan B. Anthony understood the gravity of her fight for women’s rights, or if she imagined that “girls would run the world” in the 21st century. These people are every day heroes without the costumes and special powers. Using only their intelligence, passion, ability to think forward, their wits, cunning and audacity to create change, they have helped shape the amazing world we live in today. When we see extraordinary They, among other people who have undoubtedly shaped our reality would probably still look in the mirror and see they have something in common with everyone–they are ordinary people. Real heroes are the innovators, the activists, the people who believe in making a difference. Yes, you reading this… you are one of those people. So don’t ever think that your dreams are too wild, your ambitions over thought, or your drive too powerful. The world is yours to redesign.
