It comes as no surprise that Fuller House has just been renewed for a second season. The online revival of “Full House” was released on Netflix on February 26 with the entire first season ready for binge-watching. There’s only thirteen episodes, so naturally I was able to knock it out in a weekend, all while wondering how old John Stamos actually is. The entire cast came back for the first episode, except for the Olsen twins (which was hilariously addressed with a classy fourth wall break), and the rest of the series focuses on our favorite sisters: DJ Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) and Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) with, of course, our favorite neighbor Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber).
Here are 10 reasons you should lay down and binge watch the next season with the rest of us:
1. The cast still has chemistry.
If you think about it, these people grew up together, just like their characters, and their genuine friendships show through the screen too.
2. The new kids can hold their own.
Okay and they’re just freaking adorable. I mean, they don’t even hold a candle to Michelle Tanner, but one of the kids screams “holy chalupas” and you can’t help but giggle.
3. While the Olsen twins didn’t make an appearance during the first season, it’s still possible they could show up in season two.
I mean, come on Mary Kate and Ashley…. please??
4. Uncle Jesse and Becky never aged and it is glorious.
All that concern for his hair has kept Uncle Jesse in pristine condition.
5. THERE IS A PUPPY.
At one point there is at least five puppies on the screen at one time. I cry.
6. It will make you nostalgic as f**k.
Not even kidding, I may have teared up a bit.
7. They still have those corny, heart-warming family moments that you secretly love.
It feels as if you’re apart of the family too and everything is just right in the world.
8. The girls have gotten so pretty that it hurts.
Oh, and remember when Candace was on Dancing with the Stars? Yeah, she’s still got it.
9. Somehow Kimmy Gibbler has somehow gotten weirder?
She is basically the definition of an embarrassing mom and I can’t imagine it any other way.
10. It’s predictable, it’s cheesy, and you’ll love every minute of it.
There’s hugs, lessons learned, and between the old and new it’s bound to make you smile.
So… is season 2 available yet?
