A Look Inside Khloé Kardashian’s New App

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mizzou chapter.

Apple has taken Keeping up with the Kardashians to a whole new level. Last Monday, the Kardashian-Jenner clan of Kim, Khloé, Kylie and Kendall debuted their new iPhone apps at the Soho Apple Store in New York City.

Being a closeted Kardashian fan, I couldn’t resist downloading at least one. I first downloaded the Kylie app, but after watching the introduction video, I decided it wasn’t worth starting the seven-day free trial (unless you want to pay $2.99 per month to watch her pose for photo shoots and put on a push-up bra). My favorite K sister is Khloé, so naturally I had to try her app. Take a tour with me below!

Once downloaded, the app appears as a plain black and white icon titled “KHLOÉ.” Once you take a peek inside, it opens with the same simple yet classic black and white design. The main screen features a menu with four categories labeled “KHLOÉ XO,” “GLAM,” “FIT” and “VIDEO.”

The “KHLOÉ XO” tab acts as Khloé’s personal blog. It features an assortment of #TBT’s, advice videos, Q&A’s and more. Each entry features pictures and text written by Khloé herself.

The “GLAM” tab is for all things fashion and beauty. Khloé gives you the inside scoop on her favorite trends and what’s inside her closet. “GLAM” also features beauty tutorials and look for less inspiration from Khloé’s ensembles. My personal favorite entry is “Pencil Skirts to Make Your Booty Look Bangin.’”

With Khloé’s amazing bod, it’s only natural that she has a fitness tab. Ever since she started sharing workout photos on Instagram, the world has wanted to know how she keeps in shape. The “FIT” tab contains Khloé’s gym essentials, her favorite workout outfits and exercise videos with trainer Gunnar Peterson. “Sweat is fat crying,” she yells in the “My Trainer Shows No Mercy” video. Talk about #fitspo!

The “VIDEO” section of the app holds all of Khloé’s videos from the “KHLOÉ XO,” “GLAM” and “FIT” tabs. Included are Q&A’s, advice videos, tutorials and more. The app also has an exclusive livestream feature, where Khloé broadcasts to her followers in real time at least once a day.

Whether you love them or hate them, there is no denying that the Kardashians are amazing businesswomen. More than 891,340 people signed up for their apps in the first 24 hours, and they are expected to make $32 million in just 12 months.

I can feel my mother rolling her eyes at me as she reads this, but I genuinely love the app. Although I am willing to pay $2.99 a month, those of you who aren’t as sold can view some of the same content for free on Khloé’s new website, khloewithak.com.
