What’s the big deal about Stanley cups?

Anyone scrolling through TikTok recently has seen the rave surrounding the viral Stanley cup among teens and young adults. Although the Stanley brand has been around for decades, it gained massive popularity back in 2022 and has entered the new year with the same notoriety after its $40 tumbler stole the hearts of many. 

So, what’s the big deal about it? It’s just a cup, right? Well, TikTok users have claimed the cup is worth breaking the bank. 

One TikToker known by the username @kennedynicolee_, mentioned, “Best $40 I ever spent was on this cup because it’s all I use. It fits in the cup holder, and it’s just amazing. If you’re contemplating, I would get at least one; you need it in your life.” 

Another known as @mmckenzietaylor claimed, “I literally drink 6-8 of these a day.” 

According to WebMD, the Institute of Medicine recommends that men drink 13 cups of water and suggests women drink 9 cups daily. The Stanley cup can hold up to 40 ounces, so purchasing one can help you achieve those water intake recommendations and keep you hydrated throughout the day.
