This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at MMM chapter.

Jenna Hill is a junior majoring in Communication Arts. Most of the time you can catch Jenna with a wearing both a smile and a super cute outfit. She was the perfect candidate for this week’s profile!

Tell us your name, age, year, and hometown.

Jenna Rose Hill, 21, Junior, from Stevensville, Maryland.

How do you feel about being elected HCMMM’s profile this week?

I’m very excited! I love Her Campus and the content they produce, I read it all the time!

Major/Minor?

Communications Arts with a double minor in Journalism and Fashion Studies.

What is your on campus involvement?

I write for Marymount Manhattan’s chapter of The Odyssey.

What’s your favorite spot on campus?

The stacks, it’s what we call the bookshelves all the way in the back of the library. It’s super quiet and perfect for studying or taking a quick nap between classes!

Who is your celebrity crush?

Dylan O’Brien or Michael Huisman… do I have to pick one?

If you could spend one day with your crush, what would you do?

I would definitely do something adventurous like skydiving or rock climbing! I would want to take lots of photos. Then I’d finish the day off with pizza (obviously).

What is something most people don’t know about you?

I’ve traveled to seven different countries, and counting!

On campus, where do you get your caffeine fix? Starbucks or the Cafe?

I actually don’t drink coffee or tea, I get a cup of milk at Starbucks (lol, I know). I would have to choose the Cafe because I really like soda and that counts as caffeine.

What is your go-to drink at that place?

Diet Dr. Pepper with LOTS of ice.

Best memory at MMC?

I’ve made some pretty amazing friends at MMC. We really love each other and are basically a second family, so anytime I’m with them I’m happy. It’s hard to choose just one!

Where do you see yourself in five years? Ten?

Somebody just asked me this about a week ago and I gave him a full breakdown of my future. It made me realize that while it’s nice to have a plan, living day to day might be the way to go. I definitely want to graduate college, get a job in my dream field, volunteer overseas, get married, possibly have kids, and hopefully I’ll still be in NYC. I also have a five page long bucket list to complete!

What advice do you have for freshman?

Take your time. College is about finding yourself, making mistakes, finding new friends, and having new experiences. Don’t try to rush through it, enjoy it.

Favorites!

Class you’ve taken: Interpersonal Communications, the class and the professor were amazing!

Restaurant in NYC: Kitchen Sink! I’m a little biased because it takes our meal plan, but the food is really good and all the drinks come in mason jars!

Park in NYC: Bryant Park at night! The surrounding buildings light the park and it’s so beautiful.

Movie: Clueless, I’m a really big 90’s movie buff.

Song: That’s tough, I love all types of music, right now it would have to be anything by Ariana Grande, G-Eazy, or Thomas Rhett.

Book: Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur, every woman should read this book.

Snack: Kettle corn popcorn.

Pick one!

Stay up late or wake up early?

Stay up late!

Walk or subway?

Both, depends on the weather, usually subway.

Concerts or Broadway Shows?

I go to a theater arts dominated college, but concerts definitely (sorry MMC).

Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt?

Ice Cream.

Gossip Girl or Sex and the City?

Really….that’s just cruel. Sex and the City if I have to pick.
