Name: Cierra Dillard
Â
Hometown:Â “I was born in Virginia! My mother was in the navy, I was there for two years and then I was in Chicago until I started school. I was then moved to Wisconsin where I went to school for kindergarten and first grade. I then moved back to Chicago. I was there for 2-5 grade. Then I moved back and forth from Illinois to Minnesota through 6-9th grade. I graduated from Shakopee MN.”
Â
Year:Â junior
Â
Major:Â social work
Â
Relationship status:Â “I have a girlfriend, her name is Nikki.”
Â

Â
HC: Why did you decide to attend MNSU?
Â
Cierra Dillard: I wanted to be close enough to my mother, just in case I ever really need her, and I wanted to be far enough that I can really be on my own. Also, this school has an awesome plan for social workers. Also my favorite color is purple, so that went into the factor as well.
Â
HC: What do you like to do in your free time?
Â
CD: I like to hang out with my friends in the LGBT center or Women’s Center and play cards, or watch our weekly shows. I’m also a book worm, so whenever I have time I like to escape into the many books that I have at home. Â
Â
HC: What do you look for in a partner?
Â
CD: I really like when someone can make me laugh. I’m such a joker that if you can laugh at my jokes and I can laugh at yours, we’ll get along perfect. I also like someone that can challenge me and my thinking, someone who can tell me I’m wrong when I think I’m right.Â
Â
HC: What is your ideal date?
Â
CD: I love roller coasters, so if someone was to take me to a date at the amusement park, I’d love them forever. Because it’s cold right now, I’d love to go to an improv show or a comedy show and laugh and joke.Â
Â
HC: Who is your favorite feminist icon?
Â
CD: I would have to say Queen Latifah!
Â
HC: If you could marry any celebrity, who would it be?
Â
CD: Ether Rihanna, or Zendaya.
Â
HC: Where do you see yourself in five years?
Â
CD: Hopefully living comfortably with my partner, and making new pathways in my field of work.
Â
HC: What is something that most people don’t know about you?
Â
CD:  I am able to say the ABC’s in three languages.Â
Â
HC: What is your favorite restaurant?
Â
CD: Golden CorralÂ
Â
HC: What has been your favorite class at MNSU so far?
Â
CD: GWS: Gender Race and Pop Culture. Â
Â
HC: What is something you want to do before you die?
Â
CD: I want to go to every 6 Flags Great America around the world. Also I want to skydive, but I might get to do that for my birthday next year.
Â
HC: What is your favorite TV show?
Â
CD: As of right now, Blacklist on Netflix, and on T.V it’s Empire.
Â
HC: What is your favorite song right now?
Â
CD: I love “No Role Modelz” by J. Cole, “Tell Your Friend” and “Loser” by The Weeknd, and “Unfold” by Alina Baraz & Galimatias
Â
HC: How do you feel about being chosen as the Campus Cutie?
Â
CD: I feel so flattered that I was thought to be a cutie, by someone who is gorgeous. And honored to be a part of this whole thing!
