Now that November is here, you may be ready for the snow to start falling and to sit by the fire with your cozy blanket and hot cocoa. But if you are like me, the thought of winter runs a cold chill through your body, and not in a good way. Winter is by far my least favorite season since I’m always the first one to get extremely cold. I’m that girl who walks around with a sweater in the middle of summer, so you probably understand my struggle when the weather is in the teens. Now I know I’m not the only one who gets cold very easily, so if you are the type of person who can’t deal with cold weather, here are few tips on how to dress this winter.
Layer like Your Life Depends on It
Layering should be your go-to method for dressing this season. A lot of people are worried they might look weird if they layer too much, but wearing two shirts and a few pairs of socks won’t hurt. Just find creative ways to hide pieces of clothing underneath of your outfit and will you will be nice and toasty as you endure the brutal cold.
Scarves Are Your Best Friend
The best thing about winter is being able to stock up on scarves galore. Even though scarves keep your neck warm, you can also experiment wearing scarves around your head if you have a cute hairstyle and don’t want a hat to mess that up. Not only are scarves stylish, they will keep your neck, head, and face warm this season.
Fur, Fur, and More Fur
I’ve recently discovered that fur (faux fur) is my holy grail when it comes to dressing for winter. Not only is fur soft against your skin and keeps you warm, it is also very chic! If you want to stay looking stylish this winter but can’t handle the cold, opt for a fur coat and walk the streets feeling warm and looking stylish.
Tights Under Pants Will Change Your Life
Not going to lie, tights under jeans or pants probably sounds really uncomfortable, but it will change your life for the better. On everything I stand for in life, tights under jeans are the best way for you to stay warm if you are always cold. So ladies, if you can’t deal with the cold, try wearing tights under your jeans and thank me later!
