My Go-To Baked Oats Recipe

I used to see baked oats all over my TikTok feed, and I never understood what the hype was about until I tried them for myself. There is nothing better than waking up in the morning and eating a healthy breakfast that tastes like dessert. This banana bread baked oats recipe is an absolute game changer.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of dry oats
  • ½ cup milk (I prefer oat milk, but any will work)
  • 1 whole banana
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • ¼ cup walnuts (optional)
instructions
  1. Begin by blending the oats to make an oat flour.
  2. Mash the banana in a microwave safe bowl.
  3. Pour the blended oats, milk, vanilla, baking soda and cinnamon into the bowl with the banana and mix.
  4. Mix chocolate chips and walnuts into the batter.
  5. Bake in the microwave for about two minutes and 30 seconds.
  6. Top with a splash of milk, and enjoy a delicious meal.
