Valentine’s Day isn’t just a day about loving others, but a day about loving yourself! This is the  time to take the holidays to the next level. Let’s dive into the fashion trends of this Valentine’s Day season that will not only impress others but also impress yourselves.

TREND NUMBER 1: Heart Print Sweaters

Whether it’s on TikTok, Instagram, or even just scrolling through clothing sites online – all I see are  heart print sweaters. This print is the staple piece of the season. The colors of the hearts range from the obvious pink and red, but also white, black, and brown for those who are not pink or red gals.

This sweater paired with jeans or a skirt would pull together a look perfectly! It’s a super easy piece and can be dressed up or down with the addition of jewelry. You can find these affordable sweaters on Target, Pink Lily, Temu, and more! I may even run to buy myself one now!

TREND NUMBER 2: Red Midi Dresses

I have always been a short dress girl until I found a new love for midi dresses. Midi dresses have a totally different look that short dresses don’t. Especially because these red midi dresses I have been seeing are so feminine and eye-catching! If you really want to dress to impress yourself – both a flowy or form-fitting dress will do the trick.

Not only is it adorable but it also prevents spending more money on both a top and a pair of bottoms for this Valentine’s Day! It’s a total win-win situation!  Windsor has a specific section for red midi dresses that are inexpensive for our bank accounts. Check those out and add these pieces to your closet this Valentine’s Day.

Trend Number 3: Black Skirts

Black skirts are an essential in the closet. They can go with anything and everything! If you want to dress comfy, throw on a sweater and it will turn an outfit a whole 360 degrees. If you want a sexier look, just throw on a corset or a body suit!

It’s such a simple piece that it can be dressed in any direction you are feeling! Since it’s February and it’s still cold to dress up your skirt even more, add black tights underneath to bring a classy element too. For mini skirts, Zara’s piece is not expensive but good quality to last you a while! If you like long skirts, Forever 21 has one that’s just below $20! Such a steal for this holiday season!

Trend Number 4: Leather Jackets

Instead of ruining your outfit with a winter coat, leather jackets are the way to go! With multiple different styles of leather jackets, each can fit the outfit you wish to wear! At first, I wasn’t a big fan of leather jackets because of how they looked on me, but after purchasing the one I did on Amazon I fell in love with it! I have worn it to concerts, dinners, school and even hanging out with friends. I have even worn it with sweats to make a lazy outfit more classy! I would definitely check out this leather jacket to add to your collection and spice up a variety of outfits!

Trend Number 5: Gold Jewelry

Silver jewelry for me has always been what I have worn since I was little which made the transition to gold a little hard. Once I did, I have not gone back! Jewelry does not have to be expensive! I always felt like jewelry had to be lots of money to look good, but here I am wearing my Amazon gold rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets! Something about gold seems to bring my outfits together. This pack from Amazon offers a variety of options to mix and match jewelry while still looking presentable. As you can imagine, I was immediately sold!

While all five of these trends are adorable, affordable, and unique in their own way, it’s not these trends that will truly make you feel good and look good. It’s about how you feel most confident! You can make any piece of clothing or accessories a trend as long as you feel good!
