1. The main library during off-hours
When it’s not finals week or it’s a time when most people don’t feel like studying (i.e. Friday nights), the main library is a fantastic place to get work done. There’s an infinite number of cozy study areas available, and it’s so ridiculously quiet that even whispering sounds too loud.
2. The Union
The Union is a prime spot for studying, mostly due to its proximity to coffee and snacks (not to mention Dairy Store ice cream). Pretty much any craving you have while flipping through your physiology notes can be satisfied without having to pack up your books and move. It’s generally nice and quiet too, so getting work done shouldn’t be a problem.
3. The study lounge in your dorm
Sometimes after a long day, no one feels like leaving their hall just to study. For times like these, your dorm study lounge should serve you well. Some halls have it better than others, fully equipped with comfy couches and TVs. These areas double as social spaces, making it a great opportunity to meet others on your floor.
4. Adam’s Field
In early fall semester and late spring semester, Adam’s Field is the prime study spot. Besides being one of the most beautiful areas of campus, you’re also just steps away from the Union if you’re craving some ice cream or coffee.
5. Your room
Sometimes your own room really is the best place for studying. Chilling in your pjs with a steaming cup of tea on your futon might just be the ideal way for you to get some work done.
