If you’re anything like me, you’re tired of seeing the same three costumes year after year. Lucky for you, I am here to help you be actually unique this Halloween season. You will be looking phenomenal before you know it, with at least one of these amazing costume ideas. Â
PeacockÂ
This is one of my costumes this year, being inspired by a mask I found in my room from who knows where. I think I’m going to pair it with one of my new favorite cargo skirts (although it’s pretty short) and a fluffy-sleeved black cropped top with fairy wings spray painted to match the feathers on the mask!
Your Mom!
It’s a classic response to any question, in my opinion. Why not make it a fit? Whether it’s going for the “good” mother and carrying your “baby” in a carriage all night or going for the “We’re the Millers” style and throwing your baby (of flour or other non-human materials) into the street for comedic reasons, your mom is a reliable classic for anyone.
Ugly Truth Â
Have a mirror on your shirt and write out “truth.” There is nothing better than a play on words, let alone one that you can jokingly insult people with! This is for those who are “too cool” to Â
Black and white swanÂ
Grab your bestie for this one. From the stunning movie, “The Black Swan,” you can recreate the stunning looks of both the black and white swan. Look elegant with your bestie and dance the night away as real-life ballerinas for the night.Â
Little girl from Kick-Ass
On my movie binging grind, I finally watched Kick-Ass: a quite interesting movie. Chloe Grace Moretz surprises me with her performance as the child killer, which was comedic in the movie. A 12 year old fighting five men at a timeÂ
Joe/Bimbo
This one may or may not be directly from my roommate’s birthday party theme of Joe’s and Bimbos, but it most certainly is. Grab your bestie and dress as your favorite Joe character. My favorites from the party were: Cotton Eyed Joe and Jo-ann Fabrics, or dress as a bimbo…which is just an excuse to wear as skimpy and slutty clothes as you can. Remember to stay warm though!
Sexy No Face
I recently watched Spirited Away for the first time and got inspired to make the villain…hot obviously. Looking on Pinterest gives you great inspiration for this unique and niche costume!Â
I hope this list gives you a glimpse of the endless possibilities you have for Halloween. Gone are the days of being a Playboy Bunny (I was that last year). You can be a sexy cactus for the heck of it! I think Halloween is a great excuse to go all out on whatever your wildest dreams are to wear, so why not? Looking up “sexy ___” on Pinterest is the first step for greater inspiration.Â
This is my last Halloween in college, so I definitely have a lineup of costumes I’m ready to execute. However, remember to be safe and bundle up, who knows if it’ll snow or shine in Michigan this time of year. While it’s important to look your hottest and sexiest self, you also need to take care of your body! Drink water when you can, and take care of your friends this Halloween.Â
