Finals week may be simply the most stressful time in a college student’s life! Conveniently placed right after everybody returns from a relaxing Thanksgiving break, we get thrown right into the thick of it. This two-week stretch is filled with projects, exams, and all the assignments you have pushed to the end of the semester. To avoid losing your mind and stay relaxed during all the craziness, I want to share some of the things my roommates and I have been doing during this finals week.

The first thing we did was an eventful trip to Five Below. We went here on a mission to find all the cheap Christmas decorations and transform our apartment into a winter wonderland! With a new Christmas tree full of ornaments and stockings on the wall, we had to bake some cookies next. We found some quick and easy recipes for cookies that we could use our Christmas cookie cutters on.

Another fun and relaxing activity we have all been doing together has been playing games on Playstation and our Nintendo Switch. Multiplayer games are the ultimate relaxing activity during the stress of finals. We can sit back and relax for a bit, host a Mario Kart tournament, and not  focus on all of the assignments we have procrastinated!

I hope everyone has a relaxing and productive finals week. Drink water! Take breaks! Breathe! Y’all got this!
