Dream job:To be Ellen [DeGeneres].  I would love to be a host, whether it was for my own show or just any entertainment network—Style, E!, anything like that.  I would love to build my way up to broadcasting, but I’m [also] very interested in editorial.  I never want to limit myself.
Â
Biggest accomplishment prior to MSU:I’ve made sure I was always involved in something.  I’ve done everything from hosting the Special Olympics to being a pageant girl (Killebrew was crowned Miss Southwest Michigan Teen in 2010).  My biggest overall achievement was being able to speak with young girls and being coaches for an organization called Girls on the Run.
Â
Biggest MSU accomplishment: I wrote up a proposal to speak at a conference for leadership and study skills for high school and college kids in Kalamazoo.  Also, SPJ is huge to me.  I was able to meet with an executive member from the national [chapter].  He spoke with me and said how he was proud that we’re doing such a good job and that I’m so young and so involved.
Â
Inspirational figure: I would say Ellen.  It’s just so awesome that she’s supportive of different organizations.  Seeing how successful she’s become and how she always seems so comfortable in herself—that’s how I’d like be.  I’d like to be comfortable in myself no matter what anybody else thinks of me.
