Farewell

To the friends I made from class

And will never see again

To the late nights and early mornings

And the time lost in between

To the hours spent studying

Hidden in nooks and corners of buildings

To the out-of-body experiences I can’t articulate

And the deja-vu of a repetitive schedule

When all the lectures blur together like watercolors on a page

To the time wasted having the same conversations

With 10 different people on Tinder

And the dates ghosted after a good time together

To the hours and hours of Spotify listened

And countless episodes of countless shows finished

To the familiar loneliness of being by myself

And all the main character moments I’ve had

Farewell for now –
