Whether you are a diehard football fan or barely know who is playing in the big game, everyone enjoys a lazy Sunday with food, friends, and fun. Here are five ways to make sure you have a great time!

  1. Dress in the colors of one of the teams.

Even if you don’t really care who wins or loses, it can be fun to style a cute outfit! Go through your closet and look for red and white if you want to be on theme with the Kansas City Chiefs, or don the green and white to support the Philadelphia Eagles!

  1. Try a new recipe.

Whether you enjoy cooking or usually go out to eat, the Super Bowl can be a great time to try a quick and easy recipe or a more involved main dish. Try making twice-baked potatoes, jalapeno poppers, buffalo wings, or any other crowd-pleaser.

  1. Invite friends over.

It’s always fun to spend time with your friends, so why not throw a Super Bowl party? Get some football-themed decorations, make sure to have plenty of food and drinks, and kick back and enjoy four hours of football.

  1. Watch the commercials.

While the focus of the night is usually the game, don’t forget about the awesome ads. Everyone loves seeing the hilarious, tear-jerking, or downright weird ads that companies come up with for the primetime spot on TV. Keep a list of your favorites and share them with your friends for some extra laughs.

  1. Head to a sports bar.

If hosting or going to a party isn’t your idea of a good time, try heading out to a bar for a change of pace. Lots of bars will have the game on plus other activities like trivia, so grab a group of friends and enjoy your night out.

I hope these ideas help you to have a great experience next Sunday!
