Every spooky season, I find myself watching the same movies. Here’s a few new ones to shake things up:

  1. Creep

(Streamed on Netflix)

A freelance videographer is hired to follow an older man around with a camera.

That’s about all that can be said about this movie without giving anything away. The title suggests exactly what it is: not scary, but creepy.

⅕ Ghosts

  1. Fresh

(Steamed on Hulu)

In this Hulu original, a woman falls for a very charismatic man who isn’t exactly who he seems to be.

This movie will  keep you on the edge of your seat; and on the plus side, it stars Sebastian Stan.

⅖ Ghosts

  1. The Witch

(Streamed on HBO and Hulu)

A Puritan family leaves their colony, only to find that a witch is among them.

This movie, for the most part, isn’t horrifying but there are a few scenes that are shocking.

⅗ Ghosts

  1. Hereditary

(Rent on Vudu or Prime Video)

A family tackling grief.

This movie is complicated
to say the least. The movie tackles a lot of interesting topics but also continues to terrify the audience throughout the movie.

⅘ Ghosts

  1. The Ritual

(Streamed on Netflix)

A group of friends go off route during a hiking trip.

Nope, Nope Nope. This is the scariest movie ever. If you ever want to be able to go to a bonfire again, don’t watch this movie. Not for the faint of heart or stomach.

6/5 Ghosts

No matter if you can handle most scary movies or not, there is a movie for everyone this fall season!
