Tons of artists have announced albums and singles, and 2024 has barely started. Artists like Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and more have teased music. The fans are getting fed this year. Here are all the announcements and teasers I could find for upcoming music to look forward to this year!

Beyoncé

On Feb. 11, Verizon aired a commercial during the Super Bowl featuring Beyoncé. At the end of the commercial, she says, “Okay, they ready. Drop the new music.” She then released two singles, “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” and “16 CARRIAGES.” Not only that, but her album act ii will be released on March 29.

Taylor Swift

Swift announced her eleventh studio album “The Tortured Poets Department” on Feb. 4 after she won her thirteenth Grammy. Swifties know that is her lucky number and they sure got treated that night! On April 19, Swift’s album will be released.

Ariana Grande

Grande has been posting studio photos for a few months now. On January 12, her single “yes, and?” released and became instantly popular. Less than a week later, she announced that her album eternal sunshine will drop on March 8.

Kacey Musgraves

“Deeper Will” by Kacey Musgraves was released on Feb. 8. It is a single she dropped in release of her album “Deeper will” which will be ready for streams on March 15. “It’s a collection of songs I hold very dear to my heart,” said Musgraves,  “I hope it makes a home in all of your hearts, too.”

Lana Del Rey

On Jan. 31, Del Rey told insiders at Billboard that her next take on music will be in the country genre. Her album Lasso is anticipated to release in September of this year.

SZA

On the anniversary of her previous album SOS, Sza posted to Instagram a sequence of photos with the caption “LANA.” Fans speculate that these are album covers.

Lady Gaga

Gaga started teasing music when the year began. The most fans have gotten are photos of her in the studio with captions such as “🖤🎶” or “If anyone asks I’m at church.”

Katy Perry

“If you couldn’t love me in my ‘Witness’ and ‘Smile’ eras, then you can’t love me in my KP6 era,” said Perry at her residency in Las Vegas. Perry also told Good Morning America that she is working hard on her next album and has been writing a lot.

Dua Lipa

In 2019, Lipa won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist, and she is holding herself to that title! She announced her album Training Season which will be released on Feb. 15.

Maggie Roggers

On Jan. 28, Rogges took to Instagram to announce her single “Don’t Forget Me” which was released on Feb. 8. “I’ve joked with my friends that it’s a song about having low expectations,” said Roggers, “but really I think it’s about craving simple baselines.” Her album Don’t Forget Me is set to release on April 12.

The 2025 Grammys are going to be an insane show after all of these releases. There are probably more artists who have teased or announced albums, but this is what I’ve found so far. We are getting spoiled with fantastic music this year!
