Want to go to the city but you’re a broke college student and can’t afford to do much? Me too, but no worries! There are still so many fun things for you to do that are either free or less than $25.
Central Park: Walk around the park not only is it great scenery but you get an exercise in as well. If it’s warm you can even pack your own food and even take some cute pictures.
Sign up for late night show tickets. They’re free but they’re not 100% guaranteed and you know they’ll be a lot of fun.
Free Yoga at Bryant Park! You can go either Tuesdays at 6 am or Thursdays at 6 p.m.
Go visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art/ Museum of Natural History where you can pay what you want since it is a donation.
Walk along the high line and take some cute pictures. While you’re there you could go to the Whitney Museum of American Art. It’s $25 for adults, $18 for seniors and students, and free for visitors 18 and under.
If you’re in the Bronx on Wednesday go to the Bronx Zoo where it involves paying what you want as well.
Visit Governor’s Island where the round trip is $2.
Visit New York Botanical Garden which is free on Wednesdays and 9-10 am on Saturdays.
Visit the Brooklyn Bridge for a marvelous scenery.
Just walk around and enjoy the pretty view.
