“Dear Mom…. I’d like to say thank you for everything you have blessed me with during my many years on this earth.”
Question: How are you thanking your mother this Mother’s Day? Are you planning to save money and make a homemade gift attached with a letter on the inside? Or are you planning to get her something extravagant? Or, if you are like me, you are terrible at gift giving. LOL. But you always know how to pull through God willingly.
Throughout the years, we’ve learned that mothers don’t really want much from their kids but to feel loved and appreciated. Listed below are just a few gift ideas to show your mother just how much she is loved and appreciated.
Spa Day
Get your mom a Spa Certificate from a place near you! I’m not sure of one woman who wouldn’t mind being treated and pampered for a day. Massages, spa treatment, mani/pedis. This would make for one awesome Mother’s Day gift!
Bath & Body Works
Now, I know what you are thinking. Bath & Body Works is the most basic gift of all time! But only because we buy the same gifts. Think about it.. There’s only so many fragrances and lotions they can have. This time you should try buying candles, face scrubs, hand scrubs… Anything you see that you know will make a mother feel good about herself!
Scrapbook
Are you feeling creative? Make a scrapbook of you and your mom’s best memories together! Vacations, graduations, birthdays! Every memory counts. And if you are feeling just a little bit lazy, you can always get a little crafty and make a collage of pictures to post on a poster board! Also, you can always just slide a picture into a nice frame.
Spoil Mama ALL Day
If you love your mom like you say you do and can’t think of anything to get her…. You simply have no choice but to spoil her all day! LOL. Good luck with this. On a serious note, she deserves to be spoiled. Bring her breakfast in bed, buy her favorite flowers, and maybe even buy her something that she really wants. This is one Mother’s Day gift that you cannot get wrong.
Thank you to all the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and guardians who have taken the place as mothers. We love and appreciate you! Thank you for dealing with our insanity on a day to day basis and still choosing to love us anyway. We thank you for that! We love you for that! Happy Mother’s Day, mommy dearest!
