As a child what did you want to grow up to be? I wanted to be an Architect.

What/who are you your inspirations? Nia Ali was a role model to me and one of my best friends.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I see myself successful with PISH POSH, in New York fashion week with my own store!

How did you start your business? I started a year ago, I just was bored one day and starting making shirts for myself.

What is something not everyone knows about you? I’ve ran track almost all my life since the age nine.

What are  you interest, hobbies, likes/dislikes? I love to go out, I love watching documentaries, I really love exploring and learning.

Who/What influences you the most? What influences me the most is the urge to get ahead and be great. I want to represent Black people in a big way.

What’s your signature(an item, look, style, etc that defines exactly who you are)? What defines me most is actually all my work, there’s nothing specific. It’s all different and unique and that’s me.

I am Alexis Hooper, President of the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University chapter of Her Campus.
Hi everyone! I am a sophomore at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University who should be majoring in Weddings, but is actually a Journalism & Mass Communications student with a concentration in Multimedia. Originally I am from Woodbridge, Virginia, which is about 30 minutes south of our nation’s capital. I have lived here all my life, but I’m not afraid to branch out and explore the world. This past summer I studied abroad in Sydney, Australia to engage and immerse myself in Australian culture. The experience was phenomenal and I’m already counting down the days until I can return that beautiful country. Check out my Tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook.
