The Law of Attraction is an easy and positive way to achieve what you want with no consequences. The basic idea of the Law of Attraction is speaking what you want into existence. By talking to yourself and about yourself in a positive way, you attract what you want into your life. In short, if you discuss your goals and your desires and focus on them in a positive way, what you want will come to you.Â
A very important aspect of the Law of Attraction is speaking in âthe positiveâ instead of the ânegative.â Instead of saying âI hope my week doesnât suck,â try saying âI hope this week goes well for me and Iâm excited to see whatâs in store.â This small change in attitude can greatly affect the energy you create and what you attract into your life. By talking about yourself and your goals in the negative, you give these negative thoughts power. You are reminding yourself that itâs possible that things wonât go well. Instead of doing this, make small changes to be more positive on purpose. You can practice this positivity by speaking out loud, writing it down in a journal, or even just thinking it.Â
Journaling is a great way to practice the law of attraction. Write down your short term and long term goals. Write down the details of where you want to be in the future and how you plan to get there. For example, if you are hoping to reach a specific landmark in your career in five years, write down the job position you want to hold. Write down statements such as âI will achieve this goal by working hard in school and passing my classes with ease. I am making definite progress towards my goals and my hard work will pay off.â This encourages you to truly believe in yourself and believe that your work is productive.Â
Visualizing what you want and being able to see yourself achieve it is an excellent tool of manifestation. Picture yourself after you already have what you want. You are living in your dream city, working at your dream job, and you finally have the confidence and contentment that you have always desired. Writing out these details in a positive way and being able to really see yourself with what you want surrounds you with positive energy and motivation. These simple practices keep your focus on your dreams and your goals and attract this energy into your life.

If you struggle with confidence and self love, you can easily gain a better perception of yourself through the Law of Attraction. This can be as simple as pointing out the things that you really like about yourself and focusing on them instead of pointing out your flaws. This seems pretty obvious, but sometimes it can be difficult to realize that youâre even speaking negatively in the first place. For example, if your roommate says to you that she feels ugly today, your immediate response may often be âme too, I ate way too much last night at dinnerâ or something like that. It may seem like this is an appropriate response, especially because self depreciation is so prevalent in todayâs social media-centered society. There is a much more productive option, however. By agreeing that your roommate looks bad and speaking about yourself in a negative way, you are setting both of you back and making the negative energy that youâve created more likely to make a return. A better response to this would be âdonât say that about yourself, you look great.â This response not only limits negative talk about yourself, but encourages your roommate to think more positively about herself, as well.Â

An important concept of the law of attraction is leading your life in a way that attracts what you want. In addition to speaking what you want into existence or writing it down, it can also be possible to carry yourself in a way that makes your goals possible. If you have been hurt in the past or feel like the people around you are insensitive, make up for it. If you put the energy out into the universe that you want to receive, it will come back to you. Go out of your way to be kind to people. Check up on your friends, thank your professor for their lecture, or compliment a stranger. Pay attention to how these small actions can make these people feel and how it makes you feel to offer such a small and simple gesture. You will experience first hand how this positive energy will certainly make its way back to you. By creating positivity and surrounding yourself with it, you encourage more positive energy to make its way to you.Â

Things not going your way should not make you feel helpless. Instead of looking at your circumstances as bad things happening to you, think of it as your circumstances happening for you. That relationship that you wanted to work out so badly that just isn’t is a situation that is happening for you. This is the universe telling you that you need to let go of what is not serving you, so listen. Allow yourself to understand the lesson being presented to you and hold on to the knowledge for next time. Whatever it is, it is happening for a reason and you will eventually understand its purpose. Donât feel discouraged because things arenât quite how you expected them to be. Whatever is meant for you is coming and whatever is not meant to be will find its way out.Â
The main thing to take away from the Law of Attraction is that you have the power to create the life you desire as long as you are open to it. Do everything with purpose and intention and watch your life change. Putting out positive energy into the universe will bring positive energy back to you. Keep your goals and your dreams in mind and believe in yourself that you have the power to achieve them. As Qui-Gon Jinn once said, âYour focus determines your reality.â
