It is a truth universally acknowledged that fall fashion is the best fashion, and with that comes a wave of new and fantastic trends with the changing of the seasons. With the rush of new trends and the always inconvenient student budget, it can be challenging to know which trends are vital for survival and which can be adored from afar. For this reason, I present this season’s best autumn boots, featuring stores that offer student discounts which make rocking these trends student-budget friendly.

Embroidered Boots

The floral embroidered boot trend this season is taking over, spicing up everything from block heeled ankle boots – a crowd pleaser for sure – to chic worker boots, making this a trend suited for every mood, while perfectly capturing the feel of fall. Dress these boots up or down and they are guaranteed to carry you through this season.

Studded Boots

80’s grunge is back, and it’s brought studded boots with it. This trend is simple and bold, making these boots essential for the creative girl’s wardrobe. These boots allow for versatility and flair while offering everyday comfort, making your mornings that much easier while the days get colder and darker.

Thigh High Boots

Or should I say sky high? Ever since Kendall Jenner posted those hip-high orange boots, I have been dying to put on my own pair of higher-than-high boots, and fashion designers certainly didn’t disappoint in delivering these tall booties. High boots have always been “in” but this season they are taking no prisoners. Go for bright and bold colours in these bad boys, and take every outfit from 0 to 100 real quick.

Buckled Boots

To accent a wardrobe of soft, oversized knits and wool coats, fashion has offered the timeless classic of buckles on our boots. These boots are ready when you are, and require little effort to maintain their style. Probably one of the easiest ways to look like you put in effort towards your outfit, while in actuality you put on whatever came to hand first and slipped these boots on as you rush out the door.

Velvet and Suede Boots

Perhaps nothing says fall better than velvet and suede, and that is certainly evident in this styling process. Take your pick from worker boots to block heels, from mid-calf to over-the-knee boots, I guarantee they will come in velvet or suede. To really make this trend go the extra mile, go again for a statement colour and your outfit will be a timeless classic.
