Inception Cookies: A Dessert Within A Dessert
Hi Everyone! This week we are making Inception Cookies! These are inspired by Becky Bakes Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies, which are probably some of the best cookies you will ever eat. If you’re like the majority of us: constantly juggling class, work, meetings, homework, a social life, etc., then you may not have the time or patience to sit down and whip up a batch of cookie dough. So if you’re looking for a much easier/faster/lazier option to these mouth-watering cookies, you’ve come to the right place! I explained the following steps to making these to my roommate (who may or may not have burnt a pot while only boiling water) and she claimed, “Hey! I can do that!” So if she can, so can you!
For this batch I decided to use Oreos and Reese’s peanut butter cups to stuff inside the cookies, but you can use whatever you want, like half of a Nutter Butter bar, dove chocolates, or marshmallows. My only warning is that if you use something with caramel inside, it tends to get a bit more messy and sticky and therefore harder to clean up. These cookies may not look as pretty as the ones made from homemade cookie dough, but they are definitely the most delicious ones I’ve made yet. Enjoy!
Ingredients: Pre-made cookie dough, something to stuff inside (ex. Oreos, Reese’s peanut butter cups, etc), baking sheet, a toaster oven or oven
Steps:
- Preheat the oven according to the directions on your pre-made cookie dough.
- Use a spoon to scoop cookie dough onto an Oreo (or whatever you want to put inside) and fully cover it.

      4. Take out of the oven and enjoy while they are warm!

According to my taste testers, aka those who were lucky enough to have been around while I was making these, the Reese’s peanut butter cup stuffed cookies were the favorite. This batch turned out a little more gooey than normal but that is easily fixed by leaving the cookies in the oven longer. I hope you enjoy these cookies, and I will be back next week with another easy and delicious recipe that anyone can make!
