March, one of the most underrated months of the year. Say hello to daylight savings, and bye to that one extra hour of sleep. But we definitely struck gold this month with new song and album releases, and anticipate tour announcements from some of our favorite musicians. Here are some bands/artists that you should definitely go see live while you are finishing the rest of this semester, going on co-op, and when you come back to school during the fall semester. Get your tickets in advance before they sell out because the FOMO is real, as we all know!

One of the most anticipated music festivals of the year! This year’s lineup is insane and you don’t want to miss out! Boston Calling debuted in May 2013 and has occurred twice a year at City Hall Plaza. However, this year it is being moved to Harvard Athletic Complex (and happening only in May) and it is bigger than ever with a film experience curated by Natalie Portman. There has been wide speculation about whether Natalie Portman will actually be there or not, but I guess you just have to come to find out! The National’s Aaron Dessner curated this year’s line-up, and honestly, it can’t be any better! Say hello to Tool, Mumford & Sons, Chance the Rapper, Bon Iver, The XX, Major Lazer, Weezer, The 1975, and so much more. Not to mention, they have an awesome array of food vendors as well. May can’t come soon enough! Individual day passes and 3-day passes are being sold right now. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity, it’s worth every penny!
