What did you do for your recent birthday?
Â
I just turned 21 and it was on a Sunday so I obviously had to go to brunch with my friends! I got to order mimosas and that night I went to Jingle Ball and bought some overly priced margaritas from TD Garden. I will also be celebrating with my friends back home once finals are over for everyone. All in all, it was a great day.

Tell us about your study abroad next semester!
Â
I am so excited to be studying in Dublin, Ireland next semester! I have always known that I wanted to study abroad while I am in college, and now that time has finally come. I have never been to Ireland before, but based off what I have seen from my friends’ travels it looks absolutely beautiful. I think I am most excited to be able to travel all around Europe with such convenience while I am over there, including some pit stops in Paris and London before I settle down in Dublin for the semester!
Â
What are you going to miss most about Northeastern?
Â
I think I will miss the people the most. I know I will make new friends and meet interesting people while I am abroad, but the familiarity of your friends is always nice. It is also great coming back from all the different experiences we have, whether it be co-op, dialogue, study abroad, etc., and being able to share that with them.
Â
What’s your favorite thing about Her Campus?
Â
I joined Her Campus this semester and I absolutely love it! I love the atmosphere and the girls in the club, as well as the freedom to be able to write pretty much whatever you would like. Next semester, I am going to be an editor on the E-board and I am so excited to be more involved and be able to contribute with both writing and editing articles. Plus, the free goodies don’t hurt either.
Â
What’s one piece of advice you would give to our readers?
Â
Not to sound cliche, but I sincerely believe you should follow your passion, no matter what anyone says. From high school until now, I have changed my mind about my career path countless times, from being a teacher, to a doctor, to a news anchor, to not really sure what I wanted anymore. Coincidentally enough, Her Campus actually helped me figure out that I LOVE writing about television shows and want to pursue a television publicity type career. Being valedictorian in high school, people always had very high expectations of me and when they realized I want to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, some people were a bit shocked to say the least. Regardless of that however, I found what I love and I am ready to prove anyone wrong that thinks I cannot be successful with it.
