1. Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I’m Brittany Arroyos–a 22-year-old gal working in social media and living in New York City.  I’m a recent college graduate and moved to NYC. I was born in Texas, but grew up in a small college town in Fayetteville, Arkansas where I studied Fashion Merchandising. I am also the blogger behind Itty Bitty Bomb.

2. How would you describe your style?
Every day my personal style is inspired by something new, but always a mix of vintage and edgy pieces. I am a creature of comfort so naturally I am drawn to pieces that I can wear anywhere and on the go. I don’t like being constricted by frilly things.
3. What inspired you to start a fashion blog? What keeps you motivated?
I started blogging as a way to document my outfits and as a creative outlet, the blogging community at the time was also close-knit so I made several friends around the world. Right now, I try to find time around my work schedule to take photos. As long as I’m having fun with it, I will keep blogging.

4. What is your experience at college like?
I recently graduated and it feels awesome! I majored in Apparel Studies with a focus in Fashion Merchandising. College was a great experience and I stayed very involved in extracurricular activities, I’m the kind of person that loves staying busy.
5. What are your favorite places to shop at?
Nasty Gal is a favorite of mine; I typically tend to find most of my accessories from Forever 21. I frequently shop at Urban Outfitters. Then there is ModCloth that is great for quirky and retro inspired finds, and Karmaloop is my absolute favorite to find a mix of different brands all in one place.
Â
6. What are some of your favorite pieces at the moment?
Right now I’m really into pieces that have quirky prints and patterns.
7. What advice do you have for staying fashionable on a budget?
One of my favorite things to do is to look through my latest issues of Harper’s Bazaar, Nylon, Vogue, etc. and circle pieces that I can later look for while thrifting. The great thing about fashion is that essentially everything is recycled, which means that I can find current trend inspired pieces in vintage stores. That way, I find more unique pieces and save money!
Â
8. Where do you get fashion inspiration from?
Living in the city, it’s easy to find inspiration everywhere. Especially during the winter—I feel like I learned how to layer pieces like a pro because I was inspired at how real New Yorker’s survive the cold and manage to look chic. And of course, I draw inspiration from other blogs, my favorite Instagram accounts, Pinteret, and Tumblr.
9. What advice do you have for people considering starting a blog?
Just go for it. There are so many blogs out there and everyone has a unique voice to share so you shouldn’t feel intimidated. As long as you are having fun and expressing yourself, there shouldn’t be anything stopping you.Â
