Why did you want to be the Dance Marathon Emcee?
I did Dancer Relations last year and totally loved it. My fellow DR members were so amazing and fun, and I had the time of my life with them. Being on DR, I helped pump up a lot of dancers. I dressed up in crazy outfits every block and danced with so many strangers; it was amazing. Being part of an amazing organization like DM, and being able to work directly with the dancers really inspired me to be an emcee! I also knew that I have enough energy to keep everyone pumped up throughout all of DM.
Describe your personality.
Crazy, loud, spontaneous, colorful, nice.
What’s your favorite dance move?
The Carlton (from Fresh Prince of Bel Air fame) or The  Sprinkler. They’re both great, it’s too hard to choose.
What’s one of your pet peeves?
People who walk slowly.
What’s the best music to dance to?
I love dancing to just about anything , but Ke$ha is the clear winner here.
What’s your favorite part about DM?
How Dance Marathon brings the campus together! All walks of life are represented at DM, because it’s one event almost everyone at Northwestern wants to be a part of. DM really reinforces the one, united Northwestern community. Also, it’s just a ton of fun to dance with your friends.
What’s one thing not everyone knows about you?
I’ve been to La Tomatina!
